Bharat Oman Refineries Limited (BORL) is a Company promoted by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, a Fortune 500 Indian Navaratna Oil Company, with equity participation from Oman Oil Company, Oman, and Government of Madhya Pradesh. BORL has set up a 6 MMTPA grass-root petroleum refinery at Bina in Madhya Pradesh, India. The commercial production has commenced from May 2011. The 3 MMTPA Numaligarh Refinery Limited was dedicated to the nation by the erstwhile Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri A. B. Vajpayee on 9th July, 1999. NRL has been able to display creditable performance since commencement of commercial production in October, 2000.
